Founded by Artistic Director Jesse Obremski in 2017, Obremski/Works is a New York City based contemporary company and community which strives to connect humanity through movement collaboration, creation, and communication.

Through new creations, artists are invited to dive into worlds and atmospheres of positive forward thinking to enhance lives. Obremski/Works also explores the collaboration between film in movement through the creation of dance films. These dance films, which are shared publicly, allow the creative process to add another layer on to it’s development with cinematographic conversations and emphasis on universal viewpoints.

Touring across New York City, Obremski/Works has been presented at multiple venues including DUMBO Dance Festival Harlem Arts Festival, NOREE Performing Arts, STUFFED: Dinner and Dance, Dixon Place, LaGuardia Performing Arts Center, The Jamaica Dance Festival, Arts on Site, Battery Dance Festival, and more!

Notably in 2019, Obremski/Works’s premiere dance film, No Words, was presented by HBO at Lincoln Center through The Dance Films Association’s Festival, Arts on Site, and Queens DANCE SHORTS.

Obremski/Works’s repertory consists of new creations commissioned by Obremski/Works as well as works created by Jesse Obremski.
